Car
If you're driving from Indiana Dunes National Park, head south on Indiana Dunes National Park Road toward U.S. Highway 20. Turn left onto U.S. Highway 20 and continue for about 3 miles. Then, merge onto Calumet Avenue (IN-49) and continue for approximately 2 miles. Finally, turn left onto S Calumet Rd and you will find Thomas Centennial Park at 105 S Calumet Rd, Chesterton, IN 46304. Parking is available on site.

To reach Thomas Centennial Park using public transportation, start at the Indiana Dunes Visitor Center. Take the South Shore Line train from the Dune Park station towards Chicago. Get off at the Chesterton station. From there, you can catch the local bus (Bus Route 1) heading towards downtown Chesterton. Disembark at the stop closest to S Calumet Rd. The park is a short walk from the bus stop, located at 105 S Calumet Rd. Be sure to check the local transit schedule for bus times and fares, which may apply.
