If you are traveling by car within Northwest Indiana, head towards the I-90/I-94 interchange. Take I-90 E/I-94 E towards Chicago. After about 10 miles, take exit 66A for I-57 S toward Memphis. Continue on I-57 S for approximately 5 miles and take exit 348A to merge onto IL-83 S toward Calumet City. After about 2 miles, turn left onto E State St. The Lincoln Funeral Train Historic Marker will be on your right at 12 E State St, Calumet City, IL 60409. Parking is typically available on the street.

Public Transportation
For public transportation, you can take the South Shore Line train towards Millennium Station in Chicago. Get off at the Hammond station. From there, transfer to the Pace Bus Route 364 towards Calumet City. The bus will take you to E State St. Get off at the stop closest to 12 E State St, and you'll be within walking distance of the Lincoln Funeral Train Historic Marker.
