Car
If you are driving from downtown Chicago, take I-90 E towards Indiana. Merge onto I-94 E and continue for about 30 miles. Take exit 1A for Torrence Ave toward Calumet City. Follow Torrence Ave for about 2 miles, then turn left onto Burnham Ave. After approximately 1 mile, turn right onto Heritage Drive. The Schrum Heritage Log Cabin will be on your right at the intersection of Heritage Drive and Burnham Ave.

From downtown Chicago, take the Metra Electric Line train towards University Park. Get off at the Calumet City station. From there, you can take a local bus (Pace Route 364) towards South Chicago Heights. Get off at the Burnham Ave & Heritage Drive stop. The Schrum Heritage Log Cabin will be a short walk from the bus stop, just across the intersection.
