    If you are driving from The Dunes, head east on Dunes Highway (U.S. 12) toward Gary. Continue straight on U.S. 12 for about 6 miles, then turn left onto County Line Road (N County Line Rd). Follow County Line Road for about 2 miles until you reach the entrance of West Beach, located at 376 N County Line Rd, Gary, IN 46403. There is a parking fee of $6 per vehicle for day use.

    To reach West Beach using public transportation, start by taking the South Shore Line commuter train from a station in The Dunes (like the Dune Park Station) towards Chicago. Get off at the Gary Metro Center station. From there, transfer to a bus (Gary Public Transportation Corporation - GPTC) that goes to the West Beach area.
