As you approach the city, take exit 83A for I-65 N toward Chicago. Merge onto I-65 N and continue for approximately 5 miles. Take exit 114A toward Washington Street. Follow Washington St toward the downtown area. Once in downtown Indianapolis, follow signs for Canal Walk. The USS Indianapolis National Memorial is located along the Canal Walk. Parking is available nearby, but fees may apply, usually ranging from $5 to $20 depending on the facility.
