Getting There

  • Bus

    From Manado, head to the 'Pasilian' bus terminal (also known as Terminal Malalayang). You can take a local 'angkot' (minibus) or use a motorcycle taxi (ojek) to get there. Once at the terminal, look for a bus or 'angkot' heading towards Langowan. The fare is usually around IDR 20,000 to IDR 30,000. Inform the driver you want to go to Langowan.

    Once you arrive at Langowan, disembark from the bus at the main market area. From there, you can ask locals for directions to Mt. Soputan. It's approximately a 30-minute walk from the market. Head northeast along the main road (Jalan Raya Langowan) towards Noongan Tiga. The path is well-known, and locals will assist you if you are unsure.
