Once you reach the Galang area, look for signs leading to Abang Island. There might be a small toll fee depending on the route you choose, so keep some cash handy. After reaching the ferry terminal at Galang, you will need to park your car in the designated parking area before boarding the ferry.

For those using public transport, begin your trip at one of the major bus terminals in Batam City. Look for buses heading towards Galang. The bus ride will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Galang, you will need to take a local taxi or a motorbike taxi to reach the ferry terminal. The fare for the local transport is usually around IDR 20,000 to IDR 50,000. At the ferry terminal, purchase your ticket for the ferry to Abang Island. The ferry ride will take approximately 30 minutes.
