If you are driving from the center of Rantepao, take Jalan Poros Makale towards Makale. Continue straight for about 20 kilometers until you reach a fork. At the fork, keep right onto Jalan Buntu Sarira. Follow this road for another 10 kilometers until you reach Puncak Buntu Sarira. Be prepared for some steep and winding roads as you approach the peak. Parking is available near the entrance.
