If you are starting from the Dubuque Visitor Center located at 300 Main St, Dubuque, IA 52001, exit the center and head south on Main St for about 0.3 miles. Continue straight until you reach 13th St. Turn right onto 13th St and walk for about 0.2 miles. The City of Dubuque Historic Preservation Department will be on your left at 50 W 13th St.

Take the bus that goes on the Main St route and disembark at the stop closest to 13th St. From there, walk west on 13th St for about 0.1 miles. The department is located at 50 W 13th St, just ahead on your left.
