    If you are starting from the Newton Public Library, head east on E 2nd St toward N 3rd Ave. After about 0.2 miles, turn left onto N 3rd Ave. Walk for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with E 4th St. Turn right onto E 4th St and continue walking for another 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with N 12th Ave. Turn left onto N 12th Ave and follow it for about 0.4 miles until you reach the intersection with E 8th St. Turn right onto E 8th St and walk for another 0.2 miles to arrive at the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway.

    If you have a bicycle, you can start from the Newton Park and Ride. Head north on N 1st Ave for 0.3 miles, then turn right onto E 4th St. Continue on E 4th St for about 0.5 miles and turn left onto N 12th Ave. After 0.4 miles, you'll reach E 8th St. Turn right and ride for another 0.2 miles.
