From downtown Sioux City, head to the nearest Metro Area Transit (MAT) bus stop. You will want to take the Route 2 bus heading towards the South Sioux City area. The bus will take you across the Missouri River into South Dakota. Once you arrive at the South Sioux City bus terminal, exit the bus and walk northeast towards the intersection of Dakota Avenue and G Street. Continue walking on Dakota Avenue until you reach the end of the road. South Dakota-Iowa-Nebraska Point is located at FHR3+6R, which is approximately a half-mile walk northeast from this intersection. The point is situated right by the river, offering a scenic view of the area.

If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental services in Sioux City. Start at the Sioux City Riverfront Trail and head east along the riverfront path until you reach the pedestrian bridge that crosses the Missouri River into South Sioux City. Once across the bridge, follow the cycling path that leads you to Dakota Avenue. Make a right turn onto Dakota Avenue and continue until you reach the end of the road. South Dakota-Iowa-Nebraska Point is located at FHR3+6R, just a short ride from the intersection of Dakota Avenue and G Street.

If you are walking from downtown Sioux City, start at the Sioux City Public Library. Head east on Pierce Street towards the riverfront. Upon reaching the river, follow the paved walking path along the Missouri River, which will take you towards South Sioux City. As you walk, enjoy the scenic views of the river. Continue walking until you reach the pedestrian bridge that crosses into South Sioux City. After crossing, continue straight until you reach Dakota Avenue.
