If you're driving, start in central Qadisiyyah and head towards Karbala. Follow the main road (Route 1) heading northwest. After approximately 40 km, you will enter Karbala city. Continue straight until you reach the intersection near the Imam Hussein Shrine. Turn left at the intersection and proceed for about 2 km, following the signs for Al-Mukhayam Shrine (Khayam Al Hussain AS). The destination will be on your right at J27J+R6P.

To reach Al-Mukhayam Shrine using public transport, start at the main bus station in Qadisiyyah. Look for a bus or shared taxi heading to Karbala. The fare is typically around 2,000 IQD. The journey takes about 1 hour, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Karbala bus station, take a local taxi to Al-Mukhayam Shrine. Make sure to show the driver the address: J27J+R6P, Karbala. The taxi fare should be approximately 1,000 IQD.

If you are already in the Karbala city center, you can walk to Al-Mukhayam Shrine. From the Imam Hussein Shrine, head southeast along Al-Quds Street for about 1.5 km. Turn right onto Al-Mukhayam Street and continue for another 500 meters. The shrine will be on your left. This walk takes approximately 25 minutes.
