Getting there

Walking

If you are near the city center, Shanadar Park is approximately a 30-minute walk. Head east on 40 Meter Street, then turn left onto 100 Meter Street. Continue for about 2 kilometers, then turn right onto Shanadar Street. Walk straight for about 1 kilometer, and you will find the entrance to the park on your left. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes.

Public Transport

From the main bus station in Erbil, look for a minibus or shared taxi heading towards the Shanadar area. The fare should be around 500-1000 IQD. Inform the driver you want to go to Shanadar Park. The journey should take about 15-20 minutes. Confirm the stop with the driver.
