Car
If you're traveling by car, start on the N59 road. From Clifden, drive northwest towards Letterfrack. As you approach Letterfrack, look for signs directing you to Connemara National Park. Turn onto the Renvyle Road (R336) and follow it until you see signs for Diamond Hill. There is a designated parking area at the trailhead (GPS: 53.54819, -9.9147038) where you can leave your vehicle. Parking is free.

Public Transportation
To reach Diamond Hill using public transportation, take a bus from Galway City to Clifden (Bus Eireann operates this route). Once in Clifden, transfer to the local bus service that goes to Letterfrack. You can check the schedule for the bus to Letterfrack as it may not run frequently. After arriving in Letterfrack, you can either walk (about 1.5 km) or take a taxi to the trailhead entrance. The walk is along a scenic road with beautiful views of Connemara.

From Letterfrack village, head towards the R336 road and follow it until you reach the entrance to the Diamond Hill walking trail. The walk from Letterfrack to the trailhead is approximately 1.5 km and takes about 20-30 minutes. The route is relatively flat and offers lovely views of the surrounding area.
