Getting There

  • Car

    From the main entrance of Connemara National Park, head southwest on the N59 towards Clifden. Continue on the N59 for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the turn-off for the Renvyle Peninsula. Take the left onto the Renvyle Road (R-335) and follow it for about 8 kilometers. When you reach a fork, keep right to stay on Renvyle Road. Continue for another 2 kilometers until you see signs for Lettergesh Beach. There is parking available at the beach entrance.

    Take the Bus Éireann route 463 from Galway City to Clifden. The journey takes approximately 2 hours. Once you reach Clifden, transfer to the local bus service (if available) that heads towards Renvyle. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from Clifden to Lettergesh Beach, which will take about 20 minutes and cost around €25-€30.
