Bus
From Westport, head to the Westport Bus Station located on James Street. Take the Bus Eireann Route 420 towards Galway. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time for departure times. The bus will take you through scenic views and drop you off at Letterfrack. Once you arrive in Letterfrack, the Connemara National Park entrance is a short walk from the bus stop. Just follow the main road (N59) towards the west for approximately 10 minutes until you see the park entrance.

Bike
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the local shops in Westport. Start your journey from the center of Westport and head towards the coast on the N59 road. Follow the signs to Letterfrack. The ride is approximately 16 kilometers and will take you through beautiful scenery. Upon arriving in Letterfrack, keep an eye out for the signs leading to Connemara National Park, which is a short distance from the main road.

Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and up for a long walk, you can walk from Westport to Letterfrack. Start at the Westport Town Hall and head towards the N59 road. Follow the road for about 16 kilometers. This route will take you through picturesque Irish countryside and along the coast. It will take several hours, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water. Once you reach Letterfrack, look for the signs leading to Connemara National Park, which is nearby.
