There is parking available at the castle grounds, and the parking fee is typically around €4 for a few hours.

To reach Malahide Butterfly House by train, take the DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) from Dublin city center. Board the train at Pearse Station, Tara Street Station, or any other DART station heading northbound towards Malahide. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at Malahide Station. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to Malahide Castle. Follow the signs for Malahide Castle and Gardens, or use your smartphone for directions. Note that the DART ticket from Dublin to Malahide typically costs around €5.
