Bus
From Drogheda, head to the Drogheda Bus Station located near the town center. Take the Bus Eireann route 163 towards Dublin. The bus will take approximately 40 minutes. Get off at the Howth Junction stop. From there, transfer to the DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) train towards Howth. The train ride takes about 25 minutes. Once you arrive at Howth station, exit the station and walk straight down the main road. Follow the signs for Howth Hill. It will take you about 15-20 minutes to reach the top of Howth Hill from the village.

From Drogheda, make your way to the Drogheda train station. Take a train on the Northern line heading towards Dublin. Get off at Pearse Station, and then transfer to the DART at Dublin Connolly Station, taking the DART towards Howth. The DART ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Howth station, exit and follow the same route as mentioned above, walking straight down the main road towards Howth Hill.

If you prefer to explore, you can walk to the bus station or train station in Drogheda. Simply navigate to either Drogheda Bus Station or Drogheda Train Station, and follow the bus or train guidance provided above. The walking distance to either station from the town center is approximately 10-15 minutes.
