Getting There

  • DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit)

    To reach Malahide Beach from central Dublin, take the DART train from Pearse Station or Tara Street Station. Board a train heading north towards Malahide. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Malahide Station, exit the station and turn left onto Station Road. Continue straight until you reach the main road, then turn right onto the Strand Road. Follow Strand Road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the beach.

    From O'Connell Street in the city center, catch Bus 42 or Bus 102 towards Malahide. The bus ride will take around 45 minutes. Get off at the Malahide Village stop. After disembarking, walk towards the coast, following the signs to the beach. Take a right onto the Strand Road, and you will arrive at Malahide Beach in about 15 minutes.
