From Glendalough, head southwest on the R756. Continue for approximately 10 km. You will pass through the village of Annamoe. After Annamoe, continue on the R756 until you reach the junction with the N81. Turn left onto the N81 and follow the signs for Kilbride. After about 6 km on the N81, take the exit towards Kilmacurragh West. Follow the signs for National Botanic Gardens, Kilmacurragh. The gardens will be on your left at Kilmacurragh West, Westaston Demesne, Kilbride, Co. Wicklow.

From Glendalough, take a bus from the nearest bus stop towards Dublin. You would typically take Bus 183 towards Rathdrum. Get off at the Rathdrum train station. From Rathdrum, transfer to the train towards Dublin. Get off at the next stop, which is Kilbride. From there, you can either walk (about 2 km) or take a local taxi to the National Botanic Gardens, Kilmacurragh located at Kilmacurragh West, Westaston Demesne, Kilbride, Co. Wicklow.
