Start from Kilkenny Castle, head north on the castle grounds towards the bridge. Cross the River Nore via the bridge and continue straight onto John Street. Follow John Street until you reach the junction with the Parade. Turn left onto the Parade, which leads you to the town square. Once you arrive at the square, continue straight onto the Green Street. Follow this road until you reach the bus station. From the bus station, you can catch a bus to Waterford. The journey takes about 50 minutes. Once you arrive in Waterford, alight at The Mall. The Waterford Treasures: Epic Walking Tour is located in The Viking Triangle, just a short walk from the bus stop.

From Kilkenny, walk to the Kilkenny Bus Station located on the Dublin Road. You can take a Bus Éireann service to Waterford. The buses usually run every hour, so check the schedule for your preferred time. The journey takes around 50 minutes. Upon arrival at Waterford Bus Station, exit and head straight toward The Mall. You can follow the signs directing you to The Viking Triangle, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus station.
