Getting There

    Start your journey at Kilkenny Castle, a well-known landmark. From the castle, exit the grounds and head towards the castle's entrance on the main road. Go straight along the main street, which is also called the Castle Road, until you reach the junction with the High Street. Turn right onto the High Street, continuing to follow this road. After about a 10-minute walk, you will come to a small roundabout. Take the first exit, which leads onto the Vicar Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the end of Vicar Street. At the end of Vicar Street, turn left onto the Gardens Road. Talbot's Tower is located within the Gardens area, just a short walk ahead on your right.

    If you are starting from the Smithwick's Brewery, exit the brewery and head towards the main road. Turn left onto the John Street and walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach the junction with the High Street. Turn right onto High Street and follow it until you reach a small roundabout. Take the first exit onto Vicar Street and continue walking straight. Once you reach the end of Vicar Street, turn left onto the Gardens Road. Talbot's Tower will be a short distance ahead on your right.
