Getting There

Walking
From the center of Salthill, head towards the Salthill Promenade and walk along the seafront. Continue walking towards the direction of Galway city, passing by the beach and enjoying the view of the Atlantic Ocean. After about 20 minutes, you will reach the end of the promenade where you will need to turn right onto the Lower Salthill Road. Continue straight for another 10-15 minutes until you reach the junction with the R336. Turn left onto R336 and continue walking for approximately 1 kilometer. You should see signs for Corofin. Keep following the road until you reach the Heritage Centre in Corofin, which is your destination.

Public Transport
From Salthill, head to the nearest bus stop at Salthill Park. Take the bus number 404 or 419 towards Ennis/Clare. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the stop for Corofin. Once you disembark, the Heritage Centre is a short walk away. Head towards the main road, and you will see the Heritage Centre located at V95 VX83.
