From Salthill, head to the nearest bus stop on the main road (Salthill Road). Catch the Bus Éireann route 51 towards Gort. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the Kilmacduagh stop. From there, it is a short walk to Kilmacduagh Abbey. Follow the signs, as the Abbey is well-marked.

If you prefer to walk, start at the Salthill Promenade and head east towards the main road. Turn right onto the Salthill Road, then continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach the junction with the N67. Cross carefully and follow the signs towards Kilmacduagh. The walk will take approximately 40-50 minutes.

Bicycle
For those who have access to a bicycle, you can rent one in Salthill. Start at the Salthill Promenade and cycle along the coast road (R336) heading southeast. After about 3 kilometers, turn onto the N67, continuing for another 2 kilometers until you reach Kilmacduagh Abbey. The total cycling distance is approximately 5 kilometers and should take about 20-25 minutes.
