Start from Salthill Promenade, facing the sea. Head east along the promenade until you reach the end at the intersection with Threadneedle Road. Turn left onto Threadneedle Road and walk until you reach the main traffic lights. Once there, continue straight onto the Upper Salthill Road (N59). Follow this road for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the bus stop at the junction with the R336. This is a good spot to catch a bus heading towards Maam Cross.

The journey will take about 30-40 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Maam Cross, which is the nearest point to Peacockes Viewing Tower.
