    Start at the Salthill Promenade, facing the sea. Walk towards the west along the promenade, enjoying the views of Galway Bay. Continue walking for about 30 minutes until you reach the end of the promenade. At the end, you will see a junction; keep going straight onto the road that leads into the village of Knocknacarra. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the main road (N59). Cross the road carefully and continue walking along the side of the N59 heading west. After a few minutes, look for a sign that indicates Rosmuck. Follow this road for about 20 minutes until you reach the village of Rosmuck. Once in Rosmuck, look for signs directing you to An Gort Mhór, where Ionad Cultúrtha an Phiarsaigh is located. The landmark should be easy to find as it’s one of the main attractions in the area.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Salthill Promenade and cycle towards the west. Follow the same route as the walking directions, but on a bicycle, the ride will take approximately 20 minutes to reach the end of the promenade.
