Take a Bus Éireann Route 419 or Citylink bus from Galway City to Oughterard. The bus journey takes approximately 30-35 minutes and costs between €5-€12. From Oughterard, you can walk or take a taxi to Derroura Woods. The walk is about 3 kilometers northwest along the N59 road, then turn left onto Glann Road. A taxi from Oughterard to Derroura Woods will cost approximately €10-€15.
