Get off the bus at the Donegal Town stop. From there, walk to the Quayside area, which is about a 10-minute walk to the Abbey of Donegal. Head southwest on Main Street, continue straight onto the Quayside, and the Abbey will be on your left.

    From Sligo, take a train to Dromahair Station. Note that train services may be limited. Once you arrive at Dromahair, take a local bus or taxi to Donegal Town. The bus will take approximately 30 minutes. In Donegal Town, walk to the Quayside area, which is about a 10-minute walk to the Abbey of Donegal. Head southwest on Main Street, continue straight onto the Quayside, and the Abbey will be on your left.
