Public Bus
From Sligo town, head to the Bus Eireann station located on Quay Street. You can take the Bus Eireann route 64 or 64A towards Rosses Point. The journey takes approximately 25 minutes. Get off at the Rosses Point stop. From there, walk towards the beach which is approximately a 10-minute walk. Follow the signs towards the beach area, and you will arrive at the Wild Atlantic Way Discovery Point.

If you prefer to walk from Sligo town, start at O'Connell Street and head towards the river. Cross over the bridge and follow the river path until you reach the junction at the quay. From there, follow the road signs towards Rosses Point. The distance is roughly 6 kilometers, and it will take you about 1.5 to 2 hours to walk. Enjoy the scenic views along the way.

For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local shops in Sligo town. Head out of town towards the coast, following the road that leads to Rosses Point. The journey is approximately 6 kilometers and should take about 20-30 minutes depending on your pace.
