  For the more adventurous, cycling from Portmagee to Valentia Island is a fantastic option. Rent a bicycle in Portmagee and take the R565 road towards Knightstown. The route is scenic and takes about 30-40 minutes depending on your pace. Once you reach Knightstown, follow the signs to the Valentia Island Bridge.
