Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Kirk Michael, head south on Main Road (A1). Continue straight for approximately 1 mile until you reach the junction with the B10 road. At the junction, turn left onto the B10 and continue for about 3.5 miles. You will pass through the village of Ballaugh. After Ballaugh, continue straight until you reach the town of Ramsey. In Ramsey, follow the signs for Douglas (A5). Continue following the A5 for about 12 miles. As you approach Douglas, look for signs directing you towards Fort Anne Road. Turn right onto Fort Anne Road where you will find Douglas Head along the coast, offering splendid views.

  • Bus

    From Kirk Michael, walk to the nearest bus stop on Main Road. Take the bus number 3 or 5 towards Douglas. The bus ride will take approximately 30 to 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Douglas, disembark at the bus stop near the promenade. From there, walk towards Fort Anne Road, following the signs for Douglas Head. It is about a 15-minute walk uphill from the promenade to reach Douglas Head, where you can enjoy the scenic views.
