Walking
From the center of Bethlehem, head toward Manger Square. Once at Manger Square, you can find the Star Street (or Star Street Road) leading toward the main road. Continue on this road until you reach an intersection with a sign for 'Jerusalem'. Turn left at the intersection and follow the road until you reach the checkpoint leading to Jerusalem. After passing through security, you will be in East Jerusalem. Continue straight on the main road, and you will see signs for the Chapel of the Ascension. Keep following the signs, and you will eventually reach the chapel, which is located on the Mount of Olives.

From Bethlehem, go to the main bus station near Manger Square. Take the bus to Jerusalem, which will be labeled 'Jerusalem'. After a short ride, you will arrive at the central bus station in Jerusalem. From there, you can take bus number 75 or 78 towards the Mount of Olives. Get off at the stop closest to the Chapel of the Ascension. Look for signs directing you to the chapel; it’s a short walk from the bus stop.
