Walking
From the center of Bethlehem, start at Manger Square, which is the main square in the city. Head north on Manger Street for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Star Street. Turn left onto Star Street and continue walking straight for approximately 1 kilometer. Follow the road as it curves slightly to the right, and you will arrive at the checkpoint at the entrance to Jerusalem. After passing through the checkpoint, continue walking along the main road. You will need to walk for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the entrance to the Shrine of the Book, which is located within the Israel Museum complex in Jerusalem.

Public Transport
From Manger Square in Bethlehem, walk to the nearby bus station, which is around a 5-minute walk. Look for buses that head towards Jerusalem; the bus number 21 is a common option. Once on the bus, it will take you directly to the central bus station in Jerusalem. After arriving at the bus station, exit and look for signs directing you to the Israel Museum. It is approximately a 20-minute walk from the bus station to the Shrine of the Book. Head southwest on Jaffa Street, then turn left onto Hillel Street. Continue straight until you reach the museum entrance, where the Shrine of the Book is located.
