From Modi'in, walk to the nearest bus stop, which should be labeled for the 116 bus route. Board the bus heading towards Jerusalem. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Jerusalem Central Bus Station, follow the signs to the light rail station. Take the light rail towards the City Hall station, and get off at the 'Damascus Gate' station. From there, you can either walk or take a taxi to the Chapel of the Ascension, which is located on the Mount of Olives. It is about a 30-minute walk from the Damascus Gate, heading east towards the Mount of Olives.

Start by walking to the Modi'in train station. Take a train towards Tel Aviv and transfer at the Tel Aviv Savidor Central Station to a train heading to Jerusalem. The ride to Jerusalem will take around 30 minutes. Disembark at the Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon Station. From the station, you can take bus number 74 towards the Mount of Olives. Get off at the stop closest to the Chapel of the Ascension. Please check local schedules for bus and train times to ensure a smooth journey.
