Car
If you are driving from Amalfi, take the SS163 coastal road heading north towards Salerno. Continue on this road until you reach the exit for A3 towards Naples. Merge onto the A3 and follow it for about 35 km. Take the exit toward A57 for the Tangenziale di Napoli and follow signs for A56 to continue. Eventually, follow signs for the A4 towards Venice. After approximately 700 km, take the exit for Venice and follow the signs to the city center. Once in Venice, park your car at one of the several parking garages such as Piazzale Roma. From here, you will need to walk or take a vaporetto (water bus) to reach Bacino di San Marco.

Public Transportation (Bus and Vaporetto)
From Amalfi, take the SITA bus heading towards Salerno. The journey takes about 1 hour and costs around €2-€4. In Salerno, transfer to a train to Venice, which takes approximately 6 hours. Once you arrive at the Santa Lucia train station in Venice, you will need to take a vaporetto (water bus). Board the Vaporetto Line 1 or Line 2 towards San Marco. Get off at the San Marco stop, and from there, it is a short walk to Bacino di San Marco. Ensure you have a vaporetto ticket, which costs about €7.50 for a single ride.

If you prefer to travel by train, you can take a train from Salerno to Venice. First, catch a SITA bus from Amalfi to Salerno, then purchase a train ticket from Salerno to Venice Santa Lucia station. The train ride will take approximately 6 hours, and prices can vary depending on how early you book, typically ranging from €30 to €60. Upon arrival at Santa Lucia, take a vaporetto (water bus) to San Marco, which will take about 30 minutes. From the San Marco stop, Bacino di San Marco is a short walk away.
