If you are traveling by car, navigate towards Venice by using the A4 motorway. Once you reach the outskirts of Venice, follow signs for 'Piazza San Marco'. You will need to park at a designated parking area, such as the 'Piazza Roma' parking garage. From there, make your way to the water bus station where you can catch the Vaporetto (water bus) Line 1 or 2 towards 'San Marco'. Disembark at the 'San Marco' stop. From here, it’s just a short 5-minute walk to Palazzo delle Prigioni, located close to the Doge Palace at Calle Seconda de la Fava, 4209. Please note that parking can be expensive, typically ranging from €30 to €50 per day.

Public Transportation (Train + Vaporetto)
For those coming by train, arrive at Venice Santa Lucia Station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to the Vaporetto (water bus) terminal located just outside. You can take either Vaporetto Line 1 or 2 towards 'San Marco'. The ride takes about 30 minutes. Upon reaching the 'San Marco' stop, exit and head towards the Doge Palace. Palazzo delle Prigioni is located just a 5-minute walk from there at Calle Seconda de la Fava, 4209. A single Vaporetto ticket costs approximately €7.50.
