Follow signs for Courmayeur and merge onto the SS26. Continue along the SS26 until you reach the junction for the Mont Blanc Tunnel. Take the tunnel (toll required, approximately €55 for a round trip) to cross into France. After exiting the tunnel, follow signs for Chamonix (about 30 kilometers). The vallée de Chamonix is located in the town of Chamonix, which is well-signposted.

    Start at Aosta train station and take a train to Courmayeur. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. From Courmayeur, you can take the FlixBus or other local bus services to Chamonix. The bus will drop you off in central Chamonix, from where you can explore the vallée de Chamonix.
