Continue straight until you reach the end of the street, where it merges into Via Frate Elia. Turn left onto Via Frate Elia and continue walking for about 200 meters. You will soon see signs directing you to Santa Maria degli Angeli. Follow the path until you reach the Basilica di Santa Maria degli Angeli, located at Piazza Porziuncola, 1.

From the Assisi train station, take the local bus line 2 towards Santa Maria degli Angeli. The bus stop is located just outside the station. It will take approximately 10 minutes to reach the Santa Maria degli Angeli stop. Once you get off the bus, the Basilica di Santa Maria degli Angeli is just a short walk away. Head toward Piazza Porziuncola, and you will see the Basilica.

If you are coming from the Basilica of Santa Chiara, exit the church and head northwest on Via Santa Chiara. Continue straight until you reach Piazza del Comune, then turn left onto Via San Francesco. Follow this road as it leads you out of Assisi.
