From the bus stop, follow the signs to 'Basilica di San Francesco'. It's about a 20-minute walk uphill. Keep walking straight, then take a right at the 'Via Frate Elia' until you reach 'Porta S. Francesco' where the basilica is located.

Start by making your way to 'Stazione di Perugia' (Perugia train station). From there, take a train towards 'Assisi'. The train journey takes approximately 30 minutes. When you arrive at the 'Assisi' train station, exit and follow the signs for 'Basilica di San Francesco'. It is about a 40-minute uphill walk from the station. As you walk, follow 'Via San Francesco' and enjoy the beautiful views until you reach the basilica at 'Porta S. Francesco'.

If you prefer a scenic walk from central Perugia, start at 'Piazza IV Novembre'. Head toward 'Corso Vannucci' and continue straight to 'Piazza Italia'.
