    If you're starting from the Basilica di San Francesco, head south on Via San Francesco towards Viale Giosuè Carducci. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Viale Giosuè Carducci. Turn left and walk along Viale Giosuè Carducci, passing various shops and cafes. After about 400 meters, you will reach Piazza del Comune. From the piazza, head towards the left side where you will see the Temple of Minerva. Continue walking straight, and you will reach Via del Vescovado.     From the Assisi train station, exit the station and walk towards the main road, Via Los Angeles. Turn left and follow the road as it curves slightly. You will need to walk uphill towards the historical center of Assisi. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via San Francesco.
