From the Basilica of Santa Chiara, head south on Via Santa Chiara towards the town center. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via San Francesco. Turn left onto Via San Francesco. Walk along this street, enjoying the quaint shops and atmosphere. After about 10 minutes, you will see the Portico of Monte Frumentario on your right at Via San Francesco, 5A. It's a historical landmark, so keep an eye out for the entrance.

Starting from the Piazza del Comune, head northeast towards Via Giotto. Turn right onto Via Giotto and continue for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Via San Francesco. Turn left onto Via San Francesco and continue walking for another 5 minutes. The Portico of Monte Frumentario will be on your right at Via San Francesco, 5A.

If you are at the Assisi train station, exit the station and walk towards the bus stop. Take the bus towards the city center (the buses run frequently). Get off at the stop near Piazza del Comune. From there, follow the directions from Piazza del Comune mentioned above to reach the Portico of Monte Frumentario.
