From the main bus terminal in Perugia (Piazza Partigiani), take the bus to Assisi. Look for the bus line to Assisi, which is typically marked. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Assisi bus station, exit the station and walk towards the main road (Via Giovanni XXIII).

Walking
Upon exiting the Assisi bus station, turn left onto Via Giovanni XXIII and walk towards the historical center of Assisi. Follow the road as it leads into the town, passing by several shops and cafes. After about 10-15 minutes, you will reach the Piazza del Comune, a central square in Assisi. From there, continue walking straight through the square until you reach Via Portica. Turn left onto Via Portica and walk for about 5 minutes. The Roman Forum and Archaeological Museum will be on your right at Via Portica, 2.
