From Bergamo train station, take a regional train towards Milano Centrale. The journey takes about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Milano Centrale, exit the station and follow the signs to the Metro. Take Metro Line 3 (the yellow line) towards Duomo. Get off at Duomo station. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to Piazza della Scala. Exit the station and head towards Via dei Filodrammatici. Continue straight until you reach Piazza della Scala.

From Bergamo city center, take the bus line 1 towards Milano. The trip will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Get off at the Milano Centrale bus station. From there, follow the previous train instructions to the Metro. Take Metro Line 3 towards Duomo and get off at Duomo station. Walk towards Via dei Filodrammatici to reach Piazza della Scala.

You can also take the direct bus line from Bergamo to Milan that departs from the main bus terminal in Bergamo. This bus will take you to the Milano Centrale bus station. Upon arrival, follow the Metro instructions as mentioned earlier to reach Piazza della Scala.
