Getting There

Bus
From the city center of Bergamo, head to the 'Piazza della Libertà' bus stop. You can take the bus line 1 towards 'Milan'. The bus journey will take approximately 50 minutes. Get off at the 'Milano Centrale' station. From there, follow the signs to the metro station and take the M2 (green line) towards 'Cascina Gobba'. Change at the 'Centrale FS' station to the M3 (yellow line) towards 'Comasina'. Get off at 'Duomo' station. Upon exiting the station, you will find yourself at Piazza del Duomo.

Make your way to Bergamo’s train station, 'Stazione di Bergamo'. Purchase a ticket for the regional train to 'Milano Centrale'. The train ride will take around 50 minutes. Once you arrive at 'Milano Centrale', exit the station and follow the signs to the metro. Take the M3 (yellow line) towards 'Comasina'. Get off at 'Duomo' station. Upon exiting, you will be at Piazza del Duomo.

If you are in the vicinity of the upper town (Città Alta) in Bergamo, you can walk to 'Piazza della Cittadella' and take the Funicular to 'Stazione Bassa'. From there, walk to the 'Piazza della Libertà' and catch the bus as described earlier or take a taxi to 'Milano Centrale'. However, walking from Città Alta to the train station is about a 30-minute walk. Once at 'Milano Centrale', follow the metro directions to reach 'Duomo'.
