If you're driving, take the A3 motorway towards Salerno. Exit at Pompei Ovest. Follow the signs for 'Pompei Scavi' which will lead you directly to the Archaeological Park of Pompeii. There's a parking area available near the entrance, where you may incur a parking fee of around €2-3 per hour.

For those using public transport, take a train from Naples. The Circumvesuviana line offers direct service from Napoli Centrale to Pompei Scavi (Archaeological Park). The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Pompei Scavi station, the entrance to the Archaeological Park is just a short 5-minute walk away. Tickets for the train are approximately €2.40 one way.

Bus
You can also take a bus from Naples to Pompeii. The Sita bus line operates a route that connects Naples with Pompeii. Board the bus at the Naples bus terminal, and the trip should take around 45 minutes to an hour. Get off at the Pompei Scavi stop, which is very close to the entrance of the Archaeological Park. Bus tickets cost around €2 each way.
