Car
From the center of Courmayeur, start by heading southwest on Via Roma. After approximately 300 meters, turn right onto Strada Statale 26 (SS26). Continue on SS26 for about 2 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit to stay on SS26 towards La Thuile. After about 1 kilometer, you will see signs for Madonna del Mont Chétif. Turn left onto the access road, follow it until you reach the parking area located near the site. Please note that parking may incur a small fee, typically around €5.
Public Transportation
From the main bus station in Courmayeur, take the bus heading towards La Thuile. The bus typically operates every 30 minutes. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at 'Madonna del Mont Chétif' stop. The bus fare is around €2. Once you alight, follow the pedestrian path leading directly to Madonna del Mont Chétif, which is a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop.
Walking from Courmayeur
If you prefer to walk, start from the central square in Courmayeur and head southwest on Via Roma. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the outskirts of the town. Continue walking along the path that leads you towards Madonna del Mont Chétif. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes and offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as there are no facilities along the route.
