If you are near the Florence Cathedral (Duomo), exit the cathedral and head south on Via della Canonica. Turn left onto Via dei Calzaiuoli and walk straight for about 10 minutes. When you reach the intersection with Via dei Porcellini, turn right. The Mercato del Porcellino will be on your left in Piazza del Mercato Nuovo.

From the Santa Maria Novella train station, you can take bus line C2 towards 'Piazza San Marco'. Get off at the 'Piazza della Repubblica' stop. From there, walk towards Via dei Calzaiuoli, continue straight for about 5 minutes, and turn left onto Via dei Porcellini. The Mercato del Porcellino will be in Piazza del Mercato Nuovo.
