From Santa Maria Novella, head southeast towards Piazza della Novella. Exit the train station and walk straight down Via Luigi Alamanni. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Nazionale. Turn left onto Via Nazionale and walk until you reach Piazza della Repubblica.
