Walking
If you're in the heart of Florence, start at Piazza della Signoria. From there, head southwest towards Via dei leoni. Continue straight to reach Via dei Calzaiuoli and keep walking until you reach Piazza Santa Croce. Turn left onto Via di San Francesco and proceed until you reach the intersection with Via San Niccolò. Turn right and walk along this street until you arrive at the Arno River. Cross the river via the Ponte alle Grazie. Once across, turn left on the bank and walk alongside the river until you reach Ponte Vecchio. Cross the bridge and continue straight to Via de' Bardi. Follow this street until you reach the intersection with Piazza de' Pitti. The Museum of Costume and Fashion is located at Piazza de' Pitti, 1.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the main train station, Santa Maria Novella, take bus line C3. The bus stop is located just outside the station. Board the bus towards 'Piazza della Libertà'. After about 10 minutes, get off at the 'Piazza de' Pitti' stop. From there, it's just a short walk to the museum. Head towards Piazza de' Pitti, and the Museum of Costume and Fashion is located at Piazza de' Pitti, 1. The journey should take around 15-20 minutes total, including walking.
