Getting There

    If you are starting from the iconic Florence Cathedral (Duomo), head south on Via de' Calzaiuoli until you reach Piazza della Signoria. From there, continue straight onto Via dei Leoni, which will lead you to Ponte Vecchio. Cross the Ponte Vecchio, enjoying the view of the Arno River. Once across, turn left onto Via Guicciardini, and walk straight until you reach Piazza de' Pitti. The Palazzo Pitti will be right in front of you at Piazza de' Pitti, 1.

    From the Uffizi Gallery, exit onto Piazza della Signoria and head towards the Arno River. Turn right and walk along the river until you reach Ponte Vecchio. Cross the bridge and turn left onto Via Guicciardini. Continue straight until you arrive at Piazza de' Pitti, where Palazzo Pitti is located at number 1.
